I am passionate about people. I am passionate about team culture. I am passionate about creating sensible/sustainable efficiencies to ensure the Welsh £ delivers for the people of Wales.
My 30-year experience spans the public, private and third sectors in senior roles in Wales. Until recently I was the CEO of Chambers Wales, I am the former CEO of the Abergavenny Food Festival and am the current CEO of Manufacturing Wales. I am highly organised, friendly, efficient, and skilled in business competencies.
I spent 20 years working in Local Government helping the regeneration of communities, attracting external funding and delivering community outcomes. I also lead the strategic corporate change policy and the scrutiny function. Supporting Trustees, I led the turnaround of a large youth charity in Merthyr- a very humbling experience.
The common theme throughout my career has been making a tangible difference: Doing it with a sense of optimism, fun and integrity is important to me.
