Over 30 years experience in the environmental and voluntary sectors. Previously a leader of professional teams within a large, Government environmental agency and at Board level for a significant environmental charity. Active in grass roots community groups. Extensive experience in managing change, developing and turning policy in to operational delivery, within a public facing performance framework. I am values driven and enjoy working with communities and businesses in finding solutions to problems that are often high profile, contentious and affecting peoples’ wellbeing and the environment. I was  honoured to be awarded a MBE in 2021 for services to environmental management. Recent work (2022) has included researching and writing the Environmental Wellbeing Assessment for a Public Services Board in Wales. Sustainability can be a big concept but linking it to food can make it real for everyone – currently I am developing orchards and wildflower meadows in my own community. But it started with one tree.
