Here at Practice Solutions, we’re looking for an Admin Assistant, a Comms and Marketing Assistant and a Research Assistant to join the team on an initial 6-month placement. We’ll also provide you with training and support to help boost your career prospects longer term.

Admin assistant (Kickstart role)

Job description 

Your role will be to provide administrative support across the organisation. 

  • You will provide business support across the organisation.  

  • You will help to arrange, co-ordinate various meetings – this will involve sending out the agenda and relevant papers. 

  • You will be required to take key notes and action within relevant meetings. 

  • You will help to provide diary management support across the team / contracts and projects. 

  • You will help with the general enquiries via email.  

  • You will support the internal team in coordinating and providing relevant business support at various external events

Communications and Marketing Assistant

Job description 

This role will provide support to our Business Strategy Team. 

  • You will help to co-ordinate and distribute publications to key clients and external stakeholders e.g. newsletter, BLOGS, leaflets, posters and flyers. 

  • You will help to maintaining our visibility across Social Media by scheduling posts across our digital media platforms and helping to track levels of engagement with our posts 

  • You will work with the team to make any changes needed on the PSL website / associated websites and update accordingly 

  • Research competitor activity online and collating information 

  • Assist with the weekly promotional mailing and daily administrative task to ensure co-ordination of the team’s activities

Trainee Research assistant

Job description 

  • You will assist with and coordinate research and data capture 

  • You will contribute and support research publications and presentations as required. 

  • You will support the Policy Lead to maintain and update area of specialist knowledge, researching and critically appraising relevant literature within the area. 

  • You will assist with analysing data and interpreting findings in a neutral and unbiased manner. 

  • You will support the collection and collation of data using Microsoft Office and similar software (e.g., Excel). 

  • Support the Policy Lead undertake some literature reviews, policy critique and document analysis. 

  • You will provide support in setting up various meetings / events to undertake primary data collection (e.g., interviews, questionnaires, focus groups). 

  • You will assist with data analysis and project administration.
