Come to our awareness session on mindfulness!
[UPDATE MARCH 2017: THIS SESSION HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO 22 MAY – MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW]
Our Associate, Amelia Lyons, is running a short two-hour breakfast session on mindfulness on Monday 20th March from 9 to 11 am at our offices in Abercynon (Navigation Park, CF45 4SN).
During the workshop, you will explore what mindfulness is through a presentation and some brief applied practical exercises, followed by reflection and discussion.
Mindfulness is more than just a buzzword or a fad. It is increasingly used as a therapeutic technique approved by the NHS. It is helpful with stress, depression, anxiety and impulsivity.
Our fast-paced lifestyle can provoke people to act impulsively without thinking and this can have a negative impact on work and relationships – either personally or professionally. Mindfulness can help people to become more self-aware and to reflect more carefully before they act.
So if you’re curious to find out more, you are welcome to come to our awareness taster session on 20th March. The workshop costs £35 but an early bird discount at £30 is available on all bookings made by Tuesday 28th February. Breakfast will be included.
