Connect4SuccessRCT: the story so far
Connect4SuccessRCT is a pilot scheme that connects local businesses and entrepreneurs with public organisations, such as Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board, University of South Wales, housing associations and more.

These organisations regularly acquire services from businesses, such as property maintenance, transportation, building work, administration and more. There are contracts worth millions of pounds available in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
We want this public sector investment to go back into the local economy. Through Connect4SuccessRCT, businesses can collaborate to secure and deliver large-scale contracts.
Recent events have shown how important it is for communities to work together. Together, we can create a reliable supply chain, grow the local economy, and deliver vital services to the people of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
We’re looking for businesses that provide services in RCT, from sole traders to large organisations. We’re also interested in working with key partners, such as trusts, partnerships, and charities.
It’s all about bringing together different skills and experiences to develop our local economy.
Our short term focus for the Connect4SuccessRCT project are:
- getting people involved and signed up and
- Connecting with our public sector customers to show the breadth of skills and abilities the project has access to.
As you probably realise, the more people and businesses that get involved, the more exciting our approach will appear to our customer base. So if you know people who would also benefit from this approach, then please let the team know so we can sign them up.
