Consultancy
Our work on the
Social Services Improvement Agency project to improve assessment and care management is nearing its final phase. Pioneers are at varying stages in their respective projects and are developing tools which can be used across the health and social sector. By June 2009 pioneers will be implementing their developed tools to improve assessment and care management within their relevant authority.
The review of the primary mental heath workers in
CAMHs services across Wales has moved on significantly. Questionnaires have been sent out to relevant tier one workers, commissioners, PMHWs and line managers. All individuals involved in supporting the project have been extremely helpful and we’re looking forward to the feedback we receive.
We are in the final stages of our current work with the
Care Council, and will be meeting with them shortly to review the project to date. The project has been highly interesting, raising a number of issues with regards to how information about The Code of Practice is disseminated to the general public and we look forward to exploring how this work might be taken forward with The Care Council in the future.
We have developed a three scale
audit package that can be used in both the health and social care sector. The different levels of the package allow organisations to pick and choose what kind of audit review they need. This will allow organisations to tailor the audit package to both budget and current need, ensuring that all audit process are effective and implemented correctly.
Digital Media
The
Action on Elder Abuse DVD ‘Consequences’ is complete and we await final approval from Action on Elder Abuse in order to begin the dissemination process. The DVD raises awareness of the different types of abuse that can occur in the domiciliary sector and is aimed at frontline care worker audience.
After the completion of a short promotional film for the learning disability training provider
Vision Twenty one, we are now beginning work on another piece of work that will document the history of the charity.
We have recently been commissioned by
Monmouthshire County Council to document a two year project using digital media. The project will focus on improving the transition process from children to adult services for disabled service users. Our first meeting with the project owners will take place at the beginning of May.
If you have any questions about our current projects, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
